He blogs about this, and other aspects of technology and society at Fulminate.

Daniel was a member of the development team for Sinclair Research's ultra-lightweight A-bike and continues to work with Sir Clive on new forms of lightweight transport, alongside Ben Wilson, whilst also developing his own independent projects and working for private clients. Other corporate clients have included Tangerine, Mayhem UK, Hong Kong's Daka Design and medical device manufacturer Wright Fenn.

One of the final year group to graduate from Brunel University's Runnymede design school, in Industrial Design Engineering, Dan went on to do a Cambridge-MIT Institute Master's in Technology Policy, on which he developed a passion for 'open' technology, and an interest in alternative and renewable energy, a field to which he ultimately hopes to contribute. He is also the author of Rebel Without Applause , a history of the specialist British motor manufacturer, Reliant.
